As expected, these are independent films from Spain, Indonesia, Georgia Canada, Ireland, Turkey, India, Brazil and Egypt as well as one TV Movie, which did not receive wide distribution in the English speaking world. This does not mean that the film score is questionable or less reliable than those that have 140,000 votes. Once 9,000 people rate at a film, the tendency is for its score to gradually shift up or down as more people watch it. This means, that if these films were to ever reach 100,000 votes, their score then would likely resemble the score they have now. Most of the films below have over 20,000 votes on IMDB so it can be considered fairly accurate. In order from highest rated:

Though this film was released in 2013, it only reached the West in 2014 and, as such, was Nominated for Best Foreign Language Film at the 2015 Academy Awards.

life, the relationship with his best friend, Giovana, and the way he
sees the world change completely with the arrival of Gabriel.
A gay activist attempts to raise HIV/AIDS awareness during the early 1980s. The film received three Golden Globe nominations for Best Mini-Series or
