Film Review - Batman v Superman: Today's Comic Film Trends (SPOILERS)
Between, 300 (2006), Sucker Punch (2011) and Man of Steel (2013), it is clear that Zack Snyder has become a gauge by which comic book films are benched marked against. As much as his style may be unmatched, the content of Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice (2016) is not necessarily his to control. The film, that should stands by itself, is just one is one of many in the world of recent comic book films today. Unlike most others, BvS is attempting to approach established characters in a way that would launch numerous successor films. There is a lot to be said on how successful or not this film has been in its endeavour.
